> What do you do with a Chromebook on an airplane with no WiFi?….
That was the problem I had last month on a NYC>LA flight. I have a Cr-48 and thankfully, I had a few PDFs downloaded to research while flying. That aside, there was literally nothing else I could do on the flight. I LOVE my Cr-48. However, the more I run into these sorts of issues, the more I wonder if a tablet might make more sense.

I live in the Styx of Ontario defined as having very mixed Internet and Wifi connections. Move over that hill and the connections are pretty good, but drive less than 1/4 mile down the road – NADA! The whole problem is offline operation in Chrome. But the whole Web is deeply up in the air with little agreement on key HTML5 technologies. Also it is not an easy problem of syncing on changed files and linking back to the cloud or the central State keeping PC [and now mobile device]The easy stuff on HTML5 and Cloud computing is done now the hard parts remain.
